Bel Air is an opulent residential community situated on the Westside of Los Angeles, California, about seventeen miles from downtown Los Angeles. This neighborhood has been featured in many movies and television shows, depicting the wealthy lifestyle and the elegance of the estates of this area. Bel Air was founded by Alphonzo Bell in 1923. Along with Holmby Hills and Beverly Hills, it forms the Platinum Triangle, as it is popularly known. These other two communities are also opulent neighborhoods that offer some of the best real estate in the area. The exclusive Bel Air Country Club and the Hotel Bel Air are two important points in the area.

Many celebrities, wealthy families, and influential personalities, many in the Hollywood industry have chosen Malibu as the perfect place to nest.
