The Royal Wedding May be Under Super Moon Influence

By Lou Raedwulfe

For the last few weeks I have written about the impact of the Super Moon phenomenon on world events. Regardless of the denouncements from conventional science, it has been abundantly clear that the Moon's close passage to our fair planet during the last three months has left a pronounced impact across the globe.

Many scientist types who chose to dismiss the power of three Super Moon events in the course of these past 3 months, are clearly in denial. The power of the full Moon that close to the earth 3 different times, is evident in the wake of massive floods, a 9.0 earthquake followed by a tsunami along with the upheaval across the mid east/

And now, even as the Moon departs from her celestial "close encounter", there is one more event. The royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton gives those with an esoteric bend pause for thought. No less a personage than Penny Thornton, the personal astrologer of Prince William's mother, Princess Diana, is concerned about the lunar proximity on the date of their nuptials as quoted in a recent blog on Yahoo.

Martin Rogers, a blogger, says that Penny Thornton is not particularly delighted with the day they picked to marry. She feels that it is important to pick a day which can be a great send-off to any couple. The Moon can definitely have an effect on any couple and it is important to start the marriage off right by choosing a day that will have positive effects on the marriage over the long-term. Rogers says that Thornton is aware that no marriage is perfect. The date they choose could bring unexpected changes to the couple.

Astrology is quite clear that the Moon will play a large part on this wedding. It does advocate a new beginning. And, weddings are beginnings. Princess Diana will play a part on the emotions of William on that day. The Moon has an effect on our emotional side and can also represent our mothers, and the emotional impact of the Moon will most certainly impact both William and Kate.

Penny Thornton does believe that their relationship is star-crossed as Martin states in his blog on Yahoo and quotes her:

"I believe these two are made for each other," said Thornton on her personal website. "They are star-matched lovers and their marriage should be strong and lasting."

The main thing that could easily follow the event is the critical public attitude. They will not be able to make a move without the press bellowing to the world at large. The gossip could be escalated due to the Moon's placement and William may have haunting feelings when he remembers his mother but Kate will be the one to calm his emotions.

With all of the events that have evolved since the Super Moon has been so close, the impact it has had has not gone unnoticed. We can hope that their new beginning goes smoothly for the new couple. Any time we take a major step, we take it with caution.

From my own assessment, as an astrologer, I have to agree with with Princess Diana's astrologer, that this relationship was meant to be. Yes, the Moon on the date of their marriage will have an effect on their future. However, this couple is bound together in strength, love and commitment and their should fair well. I will keep my hopes for them both as they begin their journey.
