Some use cloths which are styled into a permanent form. A foundation is made on the head and some parts of the cloth are sewn.

The two pieces are sewn along the longer edge to make it wider or bigger. This technique results in a wider cloth but lesser wraps on the person's head.

Women also have certain styles to use for specific purposes. There is one style for women which uses two layers of cloth with one layer wrapped on their heads while the other layer serves as the outer covering. The first layer is usually three meters and the final layer is longer. Another style for women is one that is used inside the house.
