Disney Doppelgangers at Eurodisney Paris

By Claire Collins

Disney animators have to get their inspiration from somewhere, and while they won't always reveal whose faces they based their characters on, it can be easy to work some of them out. If you're at Eurodisney Paris, take a look around and see if you can spot the similarities between these many different personalities.

If you've ever seen the Pussycat Dolls perform and thought that their lead singer Nicole Scherzinger looked rather familiar, you might be thinking of Disney's beautiful Pocahontas. Although Scherzinger is Hawaiian and Pocahontas was Native American, their complexion, long flowing locks and feline eyes form an undeniable resemblance. Don't confuse the two if you see either of them at Disneyland Paris.

With her jet-black hair and porcelain skin, pinup pop star Katy Perry could easily pass for Snow White's sister. They even share a similar taste in primary coloured clothes, although we're not sure Snow White would wholly approve of Katy's choice of outfit in her California Gurls video.

If you're wandering around Eurodisney Paris and think you've just seen Justin Bieber in disguise, you should probably check yourself. It's not Bieber - most likely it's that other young boy with the mischievous edge: Peter Pan. The mop of hair, puppy eyes, button nose, and causing quite a stir amongst other kids, the similarities between Bieber and Peter Pan are surprisingly similar. It won't last though; Bieber is already starting to grow up.

Ever noticed the uncanny resemblance between Princess Jasmine from Aladdin and Kim Kardashian? Keep your eyes peeled for it on your next trip to Paris Disneyland. The long, tumbling dark hair, the perfect doe eyes and a shared taste in stomach-baring crop-top and trouser combinations. Thankfully that's where the similarities end; no short-lived nuptials and home movies as far as Princess Jasmine is concerned.
