Kari Bryon was born in California on December 18, 1974. When she was just fifteen, her surrogate parents were killed by a chemical explosion in a lab right in front of her eyes. She was left with a huge fascination in science and by the time she was 17 she had graduated high school and was planning to attended San Francisco State University.
After college Kari went on to back pack through Europe, the Himalayas and South Asia. Traveling all over the world she has studied in most major museums. She was also an artist that helped assist with the restoration project of the Sistine Chapel. Her painting got her a Blessing from Pope John Paul II.
Kari has had plenty of work experience before her current spotlight on Myth Busters. She has worked as a show dog groomer, librarian, maid and even a taxi driver before she realized she was meant to work in entertainment. After her realization she found work as a wrestler, rodeo clown, showgirl and juggler. She was also a script girl for Mad TV at a time.
She is now a star on Discovery Channels Myth Busters. She was first hired on by Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman to test a myth on a female orgasm. In the second season she was a vital part of the build team along with her co-hosts. At first she found it hard to adjust to show business but she was a pro in no time. During the 2009 season Kari left Myth Busters on maternity leave and awaited the arrival of her first child with her husband Paul Urich.
During her leave from Myth Busters, Kari gave birth to her daughter on June 28, 2009. She can now add mother to her long list of accomplishments. At the age of just 37 this beautiful young lady holds a B. A. In sculpture and film. She creates a new piece of art in some form everyday. Her personality and sense of humor are just two reasons why she has continually been ranked high as a 'perfect woman.'

She is now the star of her own show one the Science channel called 'Head Rush'. The show is aimed towards teenagers to learn science education. Kari is also the lead singer in a rock band called Paramore. It seems as though her talent is endless and she never fails to amaze us.
