Resident Evil 4:Afterlife Movie Review

By Chris Smith

Sony came out with a action/thriller motion picture entitled "Resident Evil 4: Afterlife" into theaters. I watched it,and I have to disagree with most of the top critic's bad reviews of this movie. It was very entertaining and exciting exactly like the first 3. It features: Milla Jovovich, Ali Larter, Kim Coates, Shawn Roberts, Sergio Peris-Mencheta, Spencer Locke, Boris Kodjoe, Wentworth Miller, and Sienna Guillory.

It centered around a tough woman named Alice (Milla Jovovich) who ends up returning to Los Angeles,California after learning that no one is in the town of Arcadia where there are supposed to be survivors. However, she does find her old buddy Claire (Ali Larter) before heading out of Arcadia.

Alice and Claire eventually discover a few survivors in L . A . among a crowd of thousands of undead just waiting to attack them. They reveal to Alice that Arcadia actually is a huge cargo boat that's floating in the ocean. From there on out, their mission would be to get out of Los Angeles and get on Arcadia. However, it wasn't an easy task and some of them got killed during the trip.

When they finally made it to Arcadia, they realize things aren't quite like they thought it might be,and they also ran into fresh dangers that led to a very exciting, suspenseful finish, which gave possible hints that this franchise may perhaps see yet another sequel.

The flick delivered a lot of action-filled,suspenseful situations that included: Alice killing multitudes of Umbrella Corp security officers,Claire and Alice battling a tremendous huge monster slinging a lengthy sharp blade, and the usual gun slinging scenes where they had to shoot tons of undead zombies or be killed.

I really loved watching the film. The movie was never unexciting, and offered loads of excitement. The top critics thought it was one Resident Evil to many, but I don't care as long as it's entertaining. I really think Mila Jovovich and Ali Larter did great. They are both a pair of sexy, action girls. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing them a lot more. I give the movie a B rating.
