"I believe empathy is our most important impulse. Helping people is what makes human beings great. I'm just replying where I see my skills can help meet a current need, and I believe we have a duty to guard and love each otherArtivist embodies these guidelines helping bridge the divide between awareness and action," Bell related.

Her altruistic attitude and legitimate energy during times like these of grotesque corporate greediness and shameful consumerism combine to place this globally known celebrity as a frontline Agent of Change for this the 1st generation of the 21st century. Kristen Bell is one of the new guides leading the way into the Other America.

Bell was so moved by her trip to war-stricken Northern Uganda she made a decision to co-design a necklace with the yoga-inspired line Satya Jewelry to benefit charity. The Acholi pendant is a peridot-stone set with a 24-karat golden necklace, named for the Acoli an ethnic group in Northerly Uganda. 100 percent of the takings benefit the charity Invisible Children , which aids the Acoli children of Uganda.

Last year on her 30th birthday she chose her big day to assist in making a major difference by raising cash to bring clean drinking water to pauperised states.

To the donors she wrote,"A billion people in the world are existing without cleaner water. Water based illness is the second highest cause of childhood death in the world. NOT ON MY WATCH. 45,000 folks will die this week alone from polluted water illnesses. Y'ALL, LETS GET OFF OUR HINEYS AND FIX THIS. Please help me get to my goal of 100K and let's have a clean water toast."
