Through all of this, you will notice that the husband, or partner, had no say in this purchase, which indirectly affects him or her as well. If it was a case of the woman planning to surprise her partner that evening, then her actions are understandable. When the sudden new purchase was just a spontaneous one, then surely most partners would want some sort of a say in the final selection.
Now, we obviously know that the above sequence of events do not happen exactly like this with all women, and not all partners care that much about the clothes their wives wear to bed each night. Nevertheless, if all women really knew what sort of outfit compliments their body types and figures the best, much better selections would be made.
