It is possible to enjoy staying or temporarily living in a luxury home, without purchasing it, or without needing to spend an arm and a leg. These homes are available on a week to week basis, and are a great opportunity to enjoy living in one, while on vacation.
Start off by deciding what it is you exactly want in a luxury home. Make a list and keep it close you may be deferring to it often. The number of bedrooms you require, the number of bathrooms, how many floors, whether it will have a home theater room and other amenities. This part actually includes the buyer's choice of settings. Will the home be located in a more remote country setting or placed more in a suburban atmosphere. These sound obvious, but many people go looking for the home first and then decide if they can live with where it's at.
Looking at some of the increases in some of the major Canadian it's easy to see the incredible bounce back in the luxury home market. Kelowna alone has seen a 700% increase, which is simply phenomenal; Montreal grew 300%, Victoria 275% and Greater Toronto 264%. These numbers indicate a renewed confidence in the economy.
For an example of something a little less exotic, but still well-known, lets look at Banff. Banff and Jasper, Alberta are number one tourist attractions due to the amazing skiing and views. Luxury homes in this neighborhood are also available to rent, completing the ski vacation off perfectly. A week in a gorgeous mountain side house here, will cost about ten thousand dollars. However again, it sleeps ten people, or five couples. Hotels in Jasper and Banff usually cost about two hundred dollars per night, more during the high season. With staff available to see to your every need, more space then you could ever want, and your own private hot tub/ Jacuzzi to soak in at the end of the day, it makes staying in a hotel seem almost a waste of money.
A luxury home doesn't have to be just for the rich and famous. You don't have to live in Hollywood, or know people in order to enjoy the luxury of one. Simply know where to look, and have a few friends you don't mind sharing the cost with, and you too can live like a movie star for a week.
