A Rap Artists and Their Own Quest Into the Industry

By Farah Fan

Becoming one of the greatest rap artists begin with an aspiration. By making an objective to become one of the respected musicians in the industry, then it will be a guide for you to complete it in full. You may be in it to perform, but there are upsides to becoming a rapper. A latest article in Forbes looks into its own annual Forbes 400, a list of the most wealthy people in America, and questions about who would be the first hip-hop star to hit the billion dollar mark. Based on the article, there are 5 contenders: Sean "Diddy" Combs, Jay-Z, Dr. Dre, Bryan "Birdman" Williams, and 50 Cent.

You simply need a way to speak to a music industry, or at least someone who can ensure you get a discussion with one. If this chance genuinely does show up, remember to present yourself. Look like your music, but do not use a look that will make your audience refuse from the first look. Remember that a company CEO or someone with a high seat will not want to waste ten minutes of his time on someone wearing rags or tattooed all over the place. If you do have tattoos, maybe go in a suit or something like that dress worthy.

Just keep in mind - look for an industry that you can get in touch with, maybe online. There are a million out there. If you really have talent, a good agent will pick you up in virtually no time. You just have to spread the word. Throw a concert all about you. Make it loud and long. Make it asking for someone to walk up o the stage and sign you a record deal. So all in all, contact, spread the word, and be presentable. Remember that you have talent. Self-confidence will get you the whole way if you have the talent to go with it.

For one you have to stop making justifications if you are hungry you have to move for it; it is not about the amount of what you have, it is about the quality. You must work with what you got, and use the haters as fuel. You have heard the testimonials of artist, and how they got famous. Like how Biggie met Puffy, how Jay-Z met Biggie, and then how Kanye met Jay-Z. But what you by no means hear is how they got to be as good as they are. What makes one person's album popular and relevant, and another like some CD coaster.

Rap artists cannot deny that whites were starting to have an effect on the rap music that had originally begun in the black neighborhood. But this is to be anticipated at any time an art form commences to gain popularity with mainstream white America. The same task can happen with an art form that is popular with mainstream white America that all of a sudden becomes popular in a minority community. College students need to be aware of this fact and come to grips with this. But, if you really want an effect, just be who you are.
