Prada Eyewear

High fashion is a label that is synonymous with the Prada brand, and whether its bags, shoes, clothing or accessories, you can be assured that if you are looking for a high quality product then you can't go far past the brand to deliver. Once known as a designer which created a small range of high quality products, in recent years the Prada range has really branched out and expanded their range to incorporate a more mass market approach. The Prada sunglasses range has been one range which has really benefitted from this expansion and is now sold in hundreds of stores around the world.

The Prada sunglasses range has shot to fame through the introduction of a few key lines and one of the most popular lines in the range is the Prada 54IS design. Highlighted by the large red strip on top of a grey strip on the arm of the sunglasses, you can clearly see that these are a Prada design.

One of the main features of the sunglasses is its gradient lens which allows them to easily adjust to different lighting conditions, depending on the circumstances. This enables the sunglasses to be worn in a number of conditions, not just in glaring sunlight. It also helps to minimise the strain on the eye area as your eyes are no longer having to constantly adjust to the surrounding light conditions, the sunglasses are now doing that for you.

Although the lenses are gradient, they do still maintain a high level of sun protection, as you would come to expect from the Prada range. UVA, UVB and blue light rays are all blocked out by the lenses giving the wearer 100% sun protection.

The popular designs come in three main colours - silver, shiny silver and gunmetal - each giving off the stylish and strong feel that we have come to associate with the Prada brand. Unlike many designs in the Prada range, these sunglasses are not tailored to fit the face of the wearer, rather they step out from the trend by providing a square lens design which is held together by two small metal connectors over the nose area.
