Pop Icon, Justin Bieber kicked off the vacation season with his new Christmas album, Under the Mistletoe, and his just-announced Believe Charity Drive. A portion of the results of sales of Mistletoe will be given to charity.
Additionally Bieber is encouraging his fans to do the same. He listed 7 categorical charitable affiliations â€" the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Pencils of Guarantee, Musicians on Call, Project Medishare for Haiti, Town of Hope, the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and the Grammy Foundation â€" in the hopes of raising millions of dollars in donations.
In a public relations release Bieber claimed he selected the organizations due to "their emphases on education, youth contentment and music." Contributions will be made to additional local charities in certain world markets. Fans can make donations thru Bieber's official site. He revealed in the release, "I am launching the Believe Charity Drive because I know firsthand that if you have a belief in your dreams, everything is possible,"

This Charity Drive is not the only work Bieber has done. He lately made 2 donations to an Ontario Food Bank. According to MTV Stories he spoke about lending a hand to an organization he has a decidedly personal connection to. "We donated $10,000 to the Food Bank [from] where I grew up, and I actually used to get food from there," he revealed. "It was an incredible feeling, simply because they were wanting lots of stuff, so it really meant a lot to me."
Earlier in the year Bieber trimmed his cherished mane, and delivered his hair to Ellen Degeneres, who put it up on eBay. The price zoomed, and when the final bid was placed before time ran out, it went for a whopping $40,688. According to his direction It was for charity. The money went go to The Light Barn Foundation, an animal rescue organization, and the winner got to hang with Justin.
The purchase was made by GoldenPalace.com, a common buyer at celebrity charity auctions. They announced in a press release that they plan to put it on tour at Bieber concerts to raise more money for charity. The care for the poor in the Other America and around the planet is profoundly evident in the character of this young artist.
