Everything About Turban Hats You Should Know

By Mara Boone

Every part of the body has an accompanying cloth to cover it. The hands have gloves, the feet have shoes and the ears have earrings and many others. Some clothes and ornaments are worn for the sole reason of covering the body while others are worn for beauty purposes. Among all the parts of the body, a head has the least variations of clothes that one can put on it. These turban hats are tied on heads.

The gear is one of them. It is a piece of cloth that is wrapped on your head. It may cover it in full or partially depending on the preferences of a person. A well tucked turban creates the image of a person wearing a round hat. When properly tied, the gear can be worn even on official business and it is also accepted all round.

The best thing about the gear is that it is not gender specific. This simply means that the same gear can be worn by a male or a female. In the Islam religion, this gear is used as a religious garment and it is worn by top ranking leaders of a religion. For most others, they may use it for other casual purposes such as preventing dust from getting onto the hair.

The one main thing that everyone who wants to try on a headgear should know is that the outlook of this is only determined by how one ties it. There are many different designs of tying it and this is upon the individual to choose the one that pleases them. This is worth noting however that a poorly tied head gear will not look good on a person and the opposite is true.

The common methods about its wrapping include making a rectangular shape. In this one, a person needs a piece of cloth rectangular in shape. The piece of cloth is then placed at the back. After that, an individual then makes a twist with this piece then pulls it back again.

One should place the rectangular piece of cloth at the back. Two ends of this cloth should then be pulled to the front and a knot tied at the front. After that, the pieces that remain after tying the knot should be pulled behind to the back of your head. At this point, one can tuck in any strands of hair inside this gear. This gear is now complete and one can walk comfortably.

In this other method, the whole head is actually covered. This is best if one does not want the hair to get any kind of dirt in it. Instead of a rectangular piece, this method employs a square one. The piece is folded along it is diagonals to form a triangle. The new shape is then placed on your head with the triangle facing the front and the ends falling on the shoulders.

One should then pull the latter ends up to the front ensuring that all the hair is covered. A knot should be made and the ends pulled to the back of the head. A knot should also be added at the back. At that point, the turban hats are now complete.
