Stronger. It may be convincing because many people really believed that those with darker hues have more strength built in with its shafts. But, this concept has been proven false. There may be many dark colored people who had theirs with great strength, yet it should not be applicable to everyone. To do some straightening ritual is inimical to the caring rules of keeping it natural. This false connotation has brainwashed all the curly haired individuals. It kept them believing that it can cause great damage to their gorgeous strands. But, there was a chosen few who have discovered that this is just a myth. Straightening will only soften its features.

Growing through trimming. You may have also heard this long before. Our great grandmothers passed on this idea to our parents. They say, the hair grows at its peak when cutting it occasionally every three months. This may not true. When you cut it, the length is decreased. But, the effect of it in having the damaged points removed makes it unleash the capacity to grow more.
